Gentle as Silence
My roots are in South Tyneside, and this is one of a series of images taken on the coast at Marsden.
This image was taken a fraction of time before sun broke through the clouds, hence the thin band of pink and gold that streaks through the otherwise night coloured sky.
It is the surface of the water that I am drawn to in this image. It gently surrounds the huge solid silhouetted rock with an unbroken fluidity.
