Eat my dust

The gravel road to Dettifoss was about 27km long. It was the worst road we had been on. The way the gravel had been laid meant that there were troughs running across the width of the road.

As i started on this road i was driving at about 10km per hour and it was rough and bumpy. I watched other cars pass me and clouds of dirt flowed behind them.

I realised that they were going much faster than i was, so i stepped on the throttle and suddenly it became smoother and less bumpy, as we drove I increased the speed until we were doing about 60km per hour........on gravel, it was great.
