My roots are in South Tyneside, and this is one of a series of images taken on the coast at Marsden.
In this image, I stood inside the 'cave' that has formed within Marsden Rock and waited for the exact moment when the light of the dawning sun cast its rays into the darkness that surrounded me, illuminating every corner.
