The orb of the sun that can be seen in this image is almost surreal in appearance. The bright yellow core looks yolk-like, contained in its contrasting but equally sharp orange membrane.
I am particularly drawn to the boldness of the subject of this image, the delicate strand of corn to the left, providing a degree of focus and perspective.
