Newcastle Arches
That which is 'man' made can capture the imagination as surely as the stuff of nature. For me, the intrigue of this image is the play of light and dark in the railway arches. The light is almost hypnotically inviting and yet on balance, there is a slightly sinister, forewarning feeling to the black and grey of the pathway and arches overhead.
