The Northern lights are always a key target for me in my photographic journey. I have seen them in Iceland but very rarely here in the UK

This image was taken in the North west of Scotland on a particularly good night for the Aurora, but a cloudy night for photography.

However the Aurora was strong enough to penetrate through the clouds to allow me to grab this image
