This must be one of the most photographic places in the whole of Northumberland, if not the UK but I still get drawn back to it. It has everything - the shape of the castle perched right on the edge of the sea. It has the wonderful North sea, different every time you visit it, and it has the rocks that are sometimes visible and sometimes covered by sand.
But there is more than just that it has the light, the light here seems so good 90% of the time you visit, even in winter, or should I say especially in winter it is soft and wonderful.
I will keep coming back to the place that I love, It was a photograph of Bamburgh castle that reignited my love for photography almost 20 years ago, never looked back really
