St Mary's Lighthouse
I would not like to live in a country close to the equator, where day and night remains roughly the same throughout the year. I love living in the North, where in the summer evenings go on and on.
This image was taken at 22:00 hours and the warm gentle light was simply fantastic. The last glow of the sun was rebounding on the high clouds and the sea was a beautiful aqua marine in colour.
This was a long exposure of about 3 minutes, and i am enjoying this "slow photography" Nothing rushed, just me and the elements, and I hope this image gives you a feeling of peace and tranquility
