We reached the famous Route 1 road, which if followed, takes you right round the island. As we traveled east towards the town of Vik we saw Seljalandsfoss in the distance its single cascade vivid in the distance.
As we got closer we were not disappointed, this is one of the most amazing waterfalls I had ever seen.
It has a drop of about 200 ft (60m) that falls into a pool which feeds the river you can see in the foreground of this image
